EYJAFJALLAKOKULL, ICELAND - UNDATED: Cars line up in the path of flowing lava, down the Eyjafjallajˆkull volcano in Iceland.
CARS line up just half a metre from the edge of 1200C molten lava spilling out of a volcano. The daredevil drivers parked their 4x4s in the path of the thick liquid as it poured down the slopes of the Eyjafjallajˆkull. Fearless thrill-seekers even got out of their cars to take a closer look at the eruption. The unseen images were posted online by 25-year-old student Kristj·n Freyr firastarson - and instantly went viral on the internet. Within just a few days, they have received 300,000 hits - around the same as the entire population of Iceland.
